:: sealant in the joint and a new rub rail.

:: In the interim I'm looking for a temporary solution.
:: I've read that you can caulk around the rub rail, but
:: would need to use a non-permanent sealant so I can
:: remove the rub rail later.

:: I thought about using a silicon sealant but believe that
:: it leaves a silicon residue that is difficult to remove
:: and that other sealants will not subsequently adhere to.

:: Wondered if anyone had any experience and/or thoughts.
