Hi tunas!

I'm an aspiring sailor early in my boating career. I've taken BK1 and BK2 at SF Sailing Co, and helped sail my friend's 44-foot cruiser. That's cool, but what I really want is to own my own boat, and even better--race it with a bunch of friends.

I'm still learning, and of course, funds prevent me from owning a boat right away. So, down to the nitty: Who wants a race crewman/repair helper!?

Happy manning any position on your boat, as long as it gets me on the water.

As I mentioned, my sailing knowledge is pretty limited. I won't be able to take apart a winch or replace a stanchion right away, but if you show me I'll be able to repeat it! I have a voracious apetite for sailing knowledge, and am super eager to learn. I think an S22 would make a perfect boat when I am ready, but I'd like to have the knowledge and skills to make repairs and race it before I buy one.

I live two blocks away from Pier 39, have a car, and am happy to bring beer to late-night bottom cleaning parties.

And while you're here, if you've got one for sale, let me know. I'm patient and waiting for the right deal and the right boat for me, but you never know what sails by, right?

Thanks!

Tom
