From the looks of the pix, it appears that the only purpose of the
wood is to provide a flat base for the traveler. I'd say just
fabricate two pieces of the exact same shape and dimensions and put
it back together. Jim
:: Hello,
::
:: I've been slowly resorting my 1968 Santana '22.
::
:: The version of my boat employed the use of a piece of
:: wood (probably teak) to square the traveler and give it
:: the desired angle for the downhaul.
::
:: This piece of wood is no longer serviceable.
::
:: Since it will be difficult to replicate (it tapers from
:: the ends towards the middle in a non-symetrical manner)
:: I'm wondering if anyone might have another solution that
:: you could recommend.
::
:: Thanks,
