Having “gone electric” and now using a Torqeedo motor on my Santana 22, I am selling my 2002 Mercury 6 HP 4 cycle long shaft outboard motor. It has been serviced yearly, most recently by SF Boat Works in March 2010. With it comes the portable gas tank and hose (the latter new in March at the time of service), and an accessory 5 gallon jerry can. A new motor is $1,700, plus tax. I am asking $850 for this one. I can deliver it anywhere in the Bay Area, or it can be picked up by arrangement with me at the Redwood Landing Marina in Redwood City.
