I have a template that I made to make new coaming boards, and I'm done with it so anyone that could use it is welcome to it. It's made from a 1/4' door skin. I stapled (or you could glue it) to the wood I was using (Machiche, like Ipe but I wouldn't recommend it, it's very hard) and used it as a guide for my router to cut the final pieces.
