Hey All, After successfully changing out the standing rigging (see previous message thread for excellent advice given to me) I discovered that my starboard chainplate is a bit corroded i.e. a line 1/16" to 1/8" deep and 1 1/2" across on the interior where the plate goes into the deck. Doh! I don't know what the safety margin is regarding aluminum thickness/strength but I contacted Schock anyway to see about replacement chain plates. The short of it is that they no longer fabricate spares as the new Tuna chain plates have different dimensions. BTW Seals doesn't carry them either. So the question is: does anybody know where to get them or have them made and how much it might cost? Thanks Javier
