I found this place on the web http://thesailwarehouse.com that sells sails at a good price. Any experience with this outfit?

Anyway, if I want to get the new sails race-legal, my understanding is that I should put the "S" insignia and sail number on the mainsail (both sides).

Is the sail number the same as the hull number?

Also, I couldn't find any hull number painted and/or etched anywhere on the boat. I think previous owners had painted it over, scraped it off, who knows what.

The hull number on record with DMV is "523" (year 1970). Is that the number I should put on the mainsail?
