Sally, you can use clear epoxy, besure clear and not amber, and 1.0 or 1.5# cloth. I never can remember actual weight, but should wet out to be clear. Do test sample on scrap wood first to check coloration and feel - should cure transparent. if you like results then proceed with coamings (2) coats of epoxy to encapsulate, wet sand in between and after.
