We have absolutely loved this boat! Santanas were built for the bay, so they're really stable. We took "Abraxas" out in several small craft advisories, and (while a bit exciting) the boat held up just fine. Certainly a perfect boat to learn how to sail the bay, or to enjoy a cruise with lots of friends, room for 6 comfortably. Great for a cruise around Sausalito Bay, over to Tiburon or Angel Island. The boat is currently in a slip at Richardson's Bay Marina in Sausalito, and the slip can be transfered to the new owners.
Sails: Main and 2 Jibs. Both in fine condition for cruising.
Motor: 4hp Mercury 2001. Motor is in great condition, very low hours and we've serviced it every year. $1200 new.
The cabin is rated to sleep four people, two in the berth and two more in the v-berth. We've slept 2 people very comfortably. There is a porta-john in the cabin as well. Other items included: seat cushions, gas tank, water pumps, dock lines, life jackets, paddle, battery and outlet converter (to power normal electronics, including stereos, $200+) and more! The boat is in overall fine condition, could use a new paint job at some point if you wanted, but sails great. We recently refinished the teak on the deck.
Please let us know if you're interested. Cheers!
