This motor was purchased new in 1995 and used a few seasons on a Santana 22, White Lightning. I stopped racing her at the end of 1998 and have only used the motor a few times since. It is perfect for a small, light weight sailboat as it only weighs about 35 lbs. and is easy to take off the transom and store below. It has 2 cylinders so it runs very smoothly. It also has a remote gas tank so you don't have to stop every 10 minutes to fill up the small internal tank some motors have. We rinsed it with fresh water after every use. The cylinders were oiled before any long term storage and it was never stored outside. It is in excellent condition.
