Santana 22 Aquila, sail # 28465 is for sale. This boat has been upgraded extensively for racing and is one of the fastest boats in the fleet. Here is a list of what she has:

Hull number 465: deck repainted and new nonskid (kiwi-grip) put on in 2008, still looks really good. The top of the cabin and the cockpit needs to be finished out to look outstanding (although it does not affect her speed). Bottom was done in 2009. . . Hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars were spent converting her from a wet sailed to a dry sailed boat. She includes a trailer, suitable as a yard trailer but I have trailered her to Santa Cruz and Monterey on this trailer. Hull and keel were fared, sealed, and 6 coats of VC performance epoxy were sprayed on by KKMI.

Aquila has an extensive sail inventory. There are three Pineapple racing jibs, one used only seven times, one used about 10 times, and another that is well used but still in very good condition (all jibs are Dacron). There is a Pineapple dacron main that has been used 15 times, and a Pineapple maxx pentex main that is well used but is also in very good condition.

Aquila also has a wind speed and direction instrument (the ducer broke and I never replaced it as honestly I never found this instrument to be useful for me), a knotmeter that is mounted but needs the transducer installed, and a quality Ritchie compass). Also included is a 5hp Nissan outboard, approximately 15years old, serviced in April 2015 with new impeller, etc. Starts on first or second pull during the season every time, very reliable little motor. It has been serviced by Marine Outboard in Sausalito and he compliments it every time I bring it in.

Other upgrades include new standing rigging (in last few years), newer halyards, spinnaker pole and lightly used but aging spinnaker, new traveler this year, and much more, including some materials to finish cosmetic upgrades. Also included are cushions for down below, never used by me. This boat also has all class required equipment, such as anchor, paddle etc.

This boat has won regattas (Great Pumpkin, Friday Night 1st Overall) has placed top 5 in Nationals, on top of numerous podium finishes in various individual races, and is a turn-key, race ready boat. There is well over 20k invested in making this boat fast. I have not been able to sail her as much as she deserves because of a shoulder injury and thus am testing the waters to sell her.
