Colin,

I redid my keelbolts last year and would be happy to share my thoughts about the process with you. I posted my experience here:

My way may not be the recommended way, so use at your own risk, but it worked well, went fast and was pretty painless. The one big thing I learned though, was to make sure you clean up the metal dust or will turn to rust spots everywhere.

:: I have Santana 22 #168. The nuts that hold the keel on
:: are completely rusted and I got replacements from
:: Schock. I have not tried to put them on yet but I know
:: the old nuts will crumble when i put a wrench on them. I
:: fear that the bolts are also rusted. I am looking for
:: some direction on replacing the bolts. If anyone has any
:: experience I would appreciate an e-mail
