Thanks Derek. Yeah - I only Bay sail. Does anyone know the Inside Diameter of the through hull tubes? That way I can keep a couple of large stoppers on board in case of emergency. Appreciate any further inputs. Tom

:: Hi Tom,

:: My boat does not have any sea cocks either. From what I
:: understand, none of the boats cam with them. Some
:: (especially those who race/sail offshore) have added
:: them for safety's sake. If not, it is a good idea to
:: carry a cork big anough to plug each through-hull if
:: need be. If you're sailing only in the Bay I personally
:: don't see a huge need for them, but then again you
:: certainly can't go wrong by adding them!
::
:: :: My hull does not have sea cocks for the cockpit drains –
:: :: is this common? Also, are there any upgrades to the
:: :: traditional bellows type hoses? All seems fine now, but
:: :: when I haul here in a year or so, I would like to
:: :: replace/upgrade the hoses.
::
:: :: Any thoughts/input appreciated.
::
:: :: Thanks,
::
