My boat has barient #10s. I agree with Tom that the two speed harken's would probably be my choice if I did it from scratch. I have often wished that we had more advantage. They are on ebay for a bit less. BTW, I think I would stay away from self tailing for racing purposes.

I like having the railing at the front on either side so that you can brace your knees and shins against it if you need to do something with the jib up there.
