:: Hey all... Noob here.
:: Ok, here is the situation. I have a Santana 22 with no
:: electrical system (it know it did come with one, but
:: that has long since left the building).
:: My First question is: Do I need a ground on a DC system
:: (other then the negative side of the battery) ?
:: In my car the negative side of the battery is grounded
:: to the frame and/or engine block... I have neither on
:: this boat. I do have 8 keel bolts...
:: I do not plan on having an AC side (unless you count a
:: trickle charger I plan on installing to maintain the
:: battery.
:: OH, trough hulls... I do have one, but it's the cockpit
:: drain... and I bet that would be a bad ground because of
:: corrosion...
:: Any and all help would be great...
:: Thanks!
:: Jeff
