My boat is in great condition, but I'm hoping to throw a few coats of non-skid deck paint down. Is this something a meticulous newbie could hope to accomplish on their own, or is this best left to a pro?

Same goes for fiberglass stain removing/buffing and clear coating -- am I biting off too much, or is this a good weekend project for an earnest girl?
