Well I'm just a DIYer, not a boatyard, but I just did this on my '67
tuna, hull #44, in the backyard. It sucks. I went to the trouble of
removing the keel entirely and taking off the fairing that was
covering rusty metal. Not fun, but necessary on my budget and being
in AZ I couldn't find anyone local to do it. I scrapped, stripped,
and sanded the paint back to the gelcoat, but now it looks pretty
good. I used Steve Seals replacements for the keelbolts and was very
happy with them. Good luck, if you decide to tackle it on your own
and have any questions let me know...
