I had replacements made by a machine shop in San Francisco using my chainplates as a template. Svendsens' metal shop would be able to do the same. I also had them cut the top off of the old chainplates so I could use the bottom half as a backer plate on the other side of the bulkhead.

I don't have any experience with replacing bulkheads, but if you are doing major work in this area, or if you also have a soft or sagging mast support beam, you might read about the support beam replacement/upgrade in these messages before settling on a plan.
